Sit up Straight…

Remember how your mother said to sit up straight.  She was right, especially if you are going to be a guest on a national television program.  Jack Welch, the legendary former CEO of General Electric, was a guest on Morning Joe this am and he didn’t look great. Now, I am not being critical of Mr. Welch, who I admire a great deal, it’s just that he didn’t do a lot to enhance his brand this morning.

Why Do We Trust Bill Clinton?

Bill Clinton appeared on Good Morning America recently with advice for President Barack Obama – to talk up the economy, and to be more upbeat.  Makes a lot of sense.  After all, any semblance of economic recovery – restoring wealth, defrosting credit markets – will be utterly unsuccessful without a rallying of consumer confidence.
