Washington, DCTrish Wexler, a Senior Vice President with VOX Global, is an accomplished public affairs professional with proven success in issue management and advocacy, media relations, and crisis communications. With fifteen years of public affairs and public relations experience, Wexler has become indispensable counsel to Fortune 50 companies, nonprofit organizations, and issue coalitions – particularly for those facing legislative, regulatory and litigation challenges.
Wexler currently manages a number of public affairs campaigns for the financial services industry’s most important issues on Capitol Hill. Largely through coalition work, Wexler represents the nation’s largest banks, credit unions, credit card networks, and other financial services entities working to promote or defeat policies critical to their industry’s operations. Wexler oversees VOX’s media training group, working with clients to help them deliver their messages under pressure. She also serves as an on-the-record spokesperson for a number of clients.
Before joining VOX, Wexler headed Wexler Communications, a public affairs consultancy for financial services clients facing legislative and regulatory challenges in Washington, DC. Earlier in her career, while at Weber Shandwick|Powell Tate, Wexler devoted considerable time to a multi-year public affairs campaign for a coalition client seeking reform in personal bankruptcy laws, as well as a number of foreign governments seeking higher media profiles in the United States for their countries, or their U.S. issues.
